It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Meredith Lee of Dayton, Texas, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas J. Underwood and Lucy Ann Williams Underwood; her husband William E. Lee; her daughter JoAnn Jezek; and her siblings, William Underwood, Lawrence Underwood, Olen "Bud" Underwood, John Underwood, Flora Estelle Uvalde Laberta "Sis" (U. Henry), Lucy Estelene U. Spence, Dolores U. Guillory and Lilly May U. Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Yuvette Henson and James Wagers (Mary); and her sister Ethelene U. Trahan. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
