He is survived by: his wife Rhoda Gregory; and his children, James C. Gregory Jr. (Callie), Rosco Darton Gregory (Linda), Vanell Carnéa McKinney (Dean), Jennifer Jayne Frakes (James) and Thelma Lee Fregia (Joe). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 14 step great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
