He was predeceased by: his mother Judith Anne Miller Neff; his sister Jackie DuPree; and his grandson Blaine Springer. He is survived by: his father Joe Tracy Neff; his wife Lonna Neff; his children, Justin Smith and Angela Taylor (Derek Taylor); his sister JoAnne Hudson (Weldon); his grandchildren, Casey Springer, Briana Burditt and Brayden Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Mason Halbert, Makenna Halbert, Madilynn Halbert, Matthew Shepard Jr. and Opal Burditt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kenefick Southern Baptist Church (3536 FM1008, Dayton, TX 77535). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at the Magnolia Park Cemetery.
