With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marlene Ann Landry Griffin of Dayton, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Landry and Marcelle Simoneaux Landry; and her husband Phillip Griffin. She is survived by: her daughters, Shelley Farias (Anthony), Tiffany Janik (Randy) and Lindsey Hopkins; her sister Debbie Mora (Tom); her grandchildren, Jordan (Kellie), Cameron (Maddi), Bailey (Rachel), Dustin (Erin), Brittany (Brandon), Lauran (William), Beau (Taylor) and Dallas (Kayla); and her great grandchildren, Brady, Emery, Rylan, Karson, Braxton, Kinsey, Blakley, Brooklynn, Aleah and Gracie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home (1304 N Cleveland St, Dayton, TX 77535).
