He is survived by: his wife Ginger Merka; his children, Taft Joseph Merka Jr. (Pam), Brian Merka, Stephanie Merka and Kimberly Merka; his siblings, Milton Merka, Charles Merka (Carol) and Marilyn Jackson; his grandchildren, Tiffany Mafilow, Taft "Joey" Joseph Merka III, Brian Merka, Payton Pichinson, Amber Crowson and Kailee Hash; and his great grandchildren, Addison, Kyle, Kaleb, Kolby, Kylie, Brently, Joseph, Elizabeth "Izzy", Mikey, Evie and Kason. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, other family and friends.
