With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allen Roy Rose of De Kalb, Texas, who passed away on December 10, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Rose and Bessie Sullivan Rose; his siblings, Tony Rose, Helen Walker and Ruth Rose; his daughter Tammy Surratt; and his grandson Stevee Surratt.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rose of De Kalb, Texas; his children, Ann Underwood of De Kalb, Connie Cannon of Weatherford, Lynn Pierce (Tyger) of New Boston and Lynda Sullivan of De Kalb, Texas; his siblings, Francis Rose of Hooks, Texas and Larry Rose of Texarkana, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Amber Coplan, Kayla Munsell, Billy Cash, Colton Cannon, Kelsi Pierce, Kirsti Pierce and Kial Surratt. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Magnolia Cemetery.
