He is survived by: his mother Jaqueline Powell of De Kalb, Texas; his siblings, Roger (Barbara Powell), Johnny (Charlotte Powell), Bryan (Kelly Powell), Dennis Powell of De Kalb, Texas, Sharon (Dan Norwood), Jeanette (Dan Thomas) and Janie (Ricky Bishop); and his sister-in-law Christy Powell of Avery, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bates Family Funeral Home (601 E Front St, De Kalb, TX 75559). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
