He was predeceased by : his father Ronnie Hernandez; his grandfather Franscisco Ybarra; his great-grandparents, Juan Ybarra and Filomena Ybarra; and his cousins, Frank and Jason Hernandez.

He is survived by : his stepfather Hector; his mother Irma Benavides; his children, Christian James Hernandez, Danyn Jaymes Hernandez and Ava Sofia Hernandez; his siblings, Ronnie James Hernandez and Iris Lyanna Trevino (Les); his grandparents, Roberto and Pilar Hernandez; his nephews, Jayden and Adam Trevino; and his niece Aria Trevino. He is also survived by numerous other extended family; and many friends.
