He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Jackson Pounds and Lula Mae Warren Pounds. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Cavitt Pounds; his children, Neil Pounds (Laci) and Janis Friend (Mike); his grandchildren, Dustin Wright, Wesley Beeman, Haven Pounds, Harli Pounds, Chris Friend, Jake Beeman and Breanna Darnell; his great grandchildren, Jackson Wright, Jace Wright, Brailey Darnell, Blaze Darnell and Brylan Darnell; and his close friend Jake.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nowlin Anders Funeral Chapel (340 S Austin St, De Leon, TX 76444). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
