With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Jean Jones of De Leon, Texas, who passed away on September 29, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Linda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Schoeneweis and Millea Bingham Paige; her daughter Angelene Grothe; and her brother James Schoeneweis Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Ben Grothe (Chrystal) and Ashley A. Grothe; her siblings, John Schoeneweis, Patty Wasson, Brenda Wasson and Tina Doering; and her granddaughters, Samantha Grothe and Madison Grothe. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
