He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Ross, Jr. and Laura Frances Walker; and his sister Jonnie Walker. He is survived by : his wife Anita Ross of Decatur; his children, Eric Ross (Connie), Charles Jonathan Ross (Sarah) and Lori Rosas (Phillip); and his siblings, Ruth Walker and Jerry Ross (Heidi).

Donations can be made in Charles name to Wise Committee on Aging, Decatur Lions Club, and St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
