He was predeceased by : his parents, Florene Roberts, and Ernest Roberts, Sr.; and his significant other Betty Francis Dunn. He is survived by : his daughters, Kendra Roberts Schuring (Bob) of Decatur and Kay Lynn Roberts Day (Paul) of Maypearl, TX; his grandchildren, Mallory Schuring, Kirbie Day Sims (Mark), Tucker Schuring and Dr. Colby Day (Chessi); and his great grandchildren, Broxton, Poppy and Rhett Sims. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“There are no words to express my feelings of loss as this closes a wonderful period of great friendship between the Vicha and Roberts families. Memories too many to count...truly Bettye Ernie and Ted and I were friends in spirit and hopes and dreams for many,many years.We water ski on lake belton and traveled to Mexico and spent many vacations at port A picnics and church all wonderful family friend times!
