He was predeceased by : his parents, Calvin Luther (CL) and Ilo Sue McKay (Thomason); and his sister Sharon (David). He is survived by : his daughter Susan; his grandsons, Stephen, Patrick and James; his wife Dorothy Mary Groux; his sons, Stephen (Jan), Patrick and James; and his siblings, Wanda and Jerry (Joyce). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, a great grandson, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
