He was predeceased by: his mother Annie Green Cockrell (Marvin Cockrell). He is survived by: his wife Diane Cockrell; his daughters, Trisha (Brandon Earp) and Tarrah (Jeff Lett); his grandchildren, Clay, Meredith Earp, Jesse and Leona Lett; his close friends, Joy and Russell Anderson; his sister Cynthia; and his brother-in-law David Hatt.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Emerald Hills Funeral Home (500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX 76060). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at the same location.
