It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theodore C. Payne of Decatur, Texas, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Payne and Frances Payne; and his grandson Chad Vess. He is survived by : his daughters, Gloria Tennison (Bill) of Alvord and Valerie Adams of Boyd; his grandchildren, Brandy Cash (James), LeaAnn Vozburg, Nate Vozburg, Jamie Delgado, Joel Delgado, Scott Tennison, Teresa Tennison, Dandy Wilson (Tatia), Terry Wilson (Johanna Lindsey Crill), Heather Strand (Zack) and Chaz Rohman (Raylen); his great grandchildren, Kala, Ryan Meyers, Kenny, Emma Dunaway, Sera, Aaron Luman, Dominic, Devin Delgado, Will, Charlie Tennison, Cora Wilson, Tanner Wilson (Mallory), Micha Wilson (Audrey), Michala Wilson (David), Cassidy Wilson, Sadi Wilson and Kati Vess; and his great great grandchildren, Ryder and Ronyn Meyers. He is also survived by great-great-grandchildren, extended family members and a host of friends.
