He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Charles Baird and Mandy Ellen Baird; his sister Patricia Smith; and his sons, Joseph and Jacob Baird.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Baird of Alvord; his children, Thomas Baird (Nicole) of Alvord and Martha McGregor (Parks) of Lewisville; and his grandchildren, Rachel, Joshua, Nadia (Camron), Elizabeth and Leila.
