He was predeceased by: his father Billy Richard Tharp, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Althea Mae Anderson; his wife Joyce Elaine Norton Tharp; his sons, Brian (Donna Tharp), Darrin (Sandy Tharp) and Michael (Tara Tharp); his grandchildren, Presley Tharp, Isabella Tharp, Kain Morrison and Madison Morrison; and his siblings, Dale Tharp, Larry Tharp, Rusty Comstock, Ricky Comstock, Johnny Legg, Leanna Santos, Terri Covington, Samantha Sullivan and Kay Adams. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grand View Funeral Home & Memorial Park/Bethany Cemetery (8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
