He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Atkinson and Louise Atkinson; and his sister Wynona Skaggs. He is survived by: his wife Mary Atkinson; and his children, Kenneth Atkinson Jr. (Laura), Kimberly Williams (James), Karey Johnson, Samantha Stinnett and Cynthia Torres (Felix). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
