He was predeceased by: his parents, Oral Lee and Lera Cooper; and his siblings, Sheryl Sarman and James "Jim" Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Alice Cooper; his daughters, Lisa Hopkins (Kelly) and Lori Matthews (Clifton); his grandchildren, Allison Butler, Blythe Hopkins-Cunningham (Kristin), Lindsay Allison (Austin) and Coleman Barnett (Leslie); his great grandchildren, Rhyleigh Allison and Kyler King; and his sister Lynda Groom. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations can be made to Hospice of Texarkana at 2407 Galleria Oaks Drive, Texarkana, Texas 75503.
