With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerardo Gonzalez (Del Rio, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2025 at the age of 62. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Elia and Longino Gonzalez Jr.; his grandparents, Rebecca, Longino Gonzalez Sr., Cleotilde and Telesforo Enriquez; his aunt Gloria Castillo; and his uncle Federico "Lico" Enriquez.
He is survived by: his children, Gerardo Gonzalez of Cibolo, TX and Beverly Ann Gloeckler (Joshua Gloeckler) of San Antonio; his granddaughters, Peyton Lola Gonzalez and Korie Love Gonzalez; his siblings, Longino Gonzalez III (Olga Gonzalez) of Uvalde, TX, Elizabeth Sosa (Leandro Sosa) of Rosenberg, TX, Dora Duesterhoft (Otto Duesterhoft) of Somerville, TX, David De Leon of Del Rio, Oswaldo De Leon of Del Rio and Yana Jimenez of Laredo, TX; his aunt Elida (Jesse Guzman); and his uncle Reginaldo Castillo of Del Rio. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Salvation Church (250 Hamilton Ln, Del Rio, TX 78840).
