He was predeceased by : his former life partners, Murlene Walker and Yvonne Wusterhausen; his wife Rebecca Ray; his son Douglas Senff (Debra Thompson); his parents, Ellen Pfennig Senff and Gerhard Senff; his stepmother Gertrude Riewe Senff; and his siblings, Helen Ruth Dewitt, Angeline Andreas (Angie) and Paul Senff.

He is survived by : his sisters, Rachel St. John and Nell Curtis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
