She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Whitlock and Maggie Whitlock (Phares); her husband Fred Frank Shearer; her stepmother Stella Locke Whitlock; her siblings, Edward L. Whitlock, Coy Dee Whitlock, Troy Glen Whitlock and Marcell Whitlock Rolen; and her grandson Michael A. Davenport.

She is survived by: her children, Charles (Lenora), Keith (Colleen), Judith Spaugh (Bob) and Phyllis Washburn (Philip). She is also survived by grandchildren, delightful great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
