He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gudgel and Patsy Gudgel of Anthony's Hospital; his grandparents, Bub, Annie Jones and John; his daughters, Carla Pruitt and Tosha Gudgel; and his sister Patty Tumlinson.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Gudgel; his sons, Michael Pruitt, Jimmy Gudgel and Johnathan Gudgel; and his siblings, Jack Gudgel and Jodi Tindall. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and his faithful fur baby companion.
