He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Paulene Hysmith; his brother William Charles Hysmith; his grandson Garrett Hysmith; his daughter-in-law Teresa Hysmith; and his grandson-in-law Mathew Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Faye Hysmith; his children, William Hysmith (Ellen), Larry Hysmith (Fey), Jennifer Hamons and John Hysmith (Malissia); and his sister Donna Alexander (Ed). He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Fisher Funeral Home (604 W Main St, Denison, TX 75020). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (300 W Acheson St, Denison, TX 75020).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Denison, Texas, and/or Remarkable Hospice Services in Sherman, Texas.
