Deborah Ann touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Deborah Ann’s presence will be missed, the influence she had on others will remain. Those who knew her will carry forward memories that reflect her character and spirit.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Craft Jr. and Lula Mae Sweat Craft; and her grandson Brian. She is survived by: her husband Jim Gates; her children, Michele Roberts (Daryl), Jay Gates, Elizabeth Nark and Rachel Aguilar (Max); and her brother Alan Craft. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home (2022 N Center St, Bonham, TX 75418).
