He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfons Waagner and Lucille Waagner; and his son David. He is survived by: his wife Edna Wheatley; his daughter Diane Waagner McDougal (Cary); his daughter-in-law Sherry Waagner; his grandchildren, Ryan McDougal (Kathleen), Mitchell McDougal (Kelsey), Nick McDougal (Morgan), Will McDougal (Leah), Mark Waagner (Shelby) and Megan Gutierrez (Ben); and his great grandchildren, Virginia McDougal, Emilia Gutierrez and Broden Waagner.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Austin Memorial Park (2800 Hancock Dr, Austin, TX 78731).
Graveside services will be held at Austin Memorial Park in Austin, Texas, on October 11 at 11 a.m. Charitable donations may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church in Austin, or a charity of your choice.
