It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Kay Mayhew of Denison, Texas, who passed away on March 20, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil McAlester and Orine McAlester; her husband Thomas Mayhew; and her siblings, Harold McAlester, Phylis McAlester and Patricia Welborn.
She is survived by: her children, Crystal Clay (Gary Clay) of Pottsboro, Macee Ragle of Denison, Todd Mayhew (Sarah Mayhew) of Denison and Justin Mayhew (Christi Mayhew) of Dension; and her grandchildren, Ashton Oliver (Roger Oliver) of Burleson, Tanner Clay (Courtney Clay) of McKinney, Kaylene Habick, Jason Habick of Savoy, Brytan Garber (Josh Garber) of Denison, Mason Mayhew of Denison, Dymond Mayhew and Austin Mayhew of Denison. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family members and friends.
