He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jane Butler; his daughters, Ronda Bigham of Denison and Deann Spicer (Steve) of Frisco; his grandchildren, Brad Bigham (Sarah) of Denison, Brandy Bigham of Denison, Richard Spicer (Tatiana) of Frisco and Alyssa Spicer (Aundre Gooden) of Frisco; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Parker Bigham, Natalie, Emilia Gooden and Nikolai Spicer; and his siblings, John Scroggins (Sharon) of Arlington and Sandy Gilliam (John Paul) of Muskogee, Oklahoma.. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews and numerus great nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given in his name to the Benevolence Ministry at Park Avenue Church of Christ in Denison Texas.
