It is with sadness that the passing of Jo Ann Schaeffer (Denison, Texas) is shared. Jo Ann, born on February 3, 1949 in Houston, Texas, passed away on July 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace Henry Schaeffer; and her parents, James Elmer and Lillie Gladys Wiseman. She is survived by: her brother James Glen; her sister-in-law Phillis Wiseman; her nephew James; her niece Glenda; her son Wallace "Wally" Henry Schaeffer II; her daughter-in-law Theresa; her grandchildren, Eugene and Heather; her son Terence "Terry" Lynn Schaeffer; and her daughter-in-law Cheryl. She is also survived by her family, her kindness to friends and neighbors.
Since she was a breast cancer survivor, the family respectfully requests that a donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation be given in her name, in leu of flowers.
