Kay C. Skelton Obituary
The passing of Kay C. Skelton of Denison, Texas, born in Abilene, Texas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 12, 2025 at the age of 85. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Kay had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Kay may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her mother A. M. Coleman, Jr.; and her son Mark Skelton. She is survived by: her husband Don Skelton; her son Scott Skelton (Sheila); her daughter-in-law Margaret Skelton; her grandchildren, Lauren Ford (Russell Ford), Allison Garrison (Hunter Garrison) and Lincoln Skelton; and her great grandchild RJ Ford.
Kay was President of the Denison Education Foundation from its inception until the Foundation was "on its way" with assets now calculated at three million dollars. Because nothing defines a community like education and health, it was not surprising that Kay accepted an invitation to become a member of the Texoma Medical Center Foundation Board, soon to be the Texoma Health Foundation.
