With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin McDaniel of Denison, Texas, born in Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on March 14, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest McDaniel and Annie McDaniel; his wife Nancy Joan Patton; his grandsons, Jaron Neans and Christopher Bell; and his brothers, Billy, Melton (Bookkeeping) of Mac's Tax, Johnny and Jimmy McDaniel.

He is survived by : his sister Annetta Evans of Swainsboro Georgia; his children, Belinda (J. R. Neans), Steven McDaniel of Soperton Georgia and Karen Derrick of Sherman; his grandchildren, Angie Derrick, Donald Bell, Adam Neans and Steven Neans; and his great grandchildren, Danny, Emry and AJ.
