She was predeceased by: her parents, James Melton Lewis and Ferne Lewis; and her brother Rufus Melton "Buddy" Lewis. She is survived by: her sister Judy Lewis Elms (Danny) of Irving; her sister-in-law Beatrice Lewis of Little Elm, Texas.; her significant other David Langford of Denison, Texas.; her daughter Kara-Lea Smothermon Hamilton (Hugh) of Sadler; and her grandchildren, Dana Smothermon Boyd, Sharla Evans and Kasey Hamilton Ford (Tylor) of Farmersville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
