She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bixler and Elizabeth Bixler; and her sister Betsy Cargill. She is survived by: her husband Donald Mitchel; her children, Mary Christine Barrett, Jacob Wayman, Karen Lindsey and Laura Eddings; and her sister Ruth Hayes. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Dallas Theological Seminary, in honor of Nell's lifelong Christian faith and dedication to helping others.
