She is survived by : her children, Monica Herren (James) and Eric Fanning (Miriam); her grandchildren, Jesse, Shelby Miller, Cole Miller (Cassady), Jake Fanning, Peyton Fanning (Noah) and Phoebe Fanning; her great grandchildren, Lincoln and Emmett; and her siblings, Donna Carden, JoAnne Fanning, Hedy Jones and Steven Hightower. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waldo Funeral Home (619 N Travis St, Sherman, TX 75090). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel (619 N Travis St, Sherman, TX 75090).
