He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bowen and Estella Gregory; and his brother Johnny. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Bowen; his siblings, Wanda Prince of Anchorage, Frida Bowen of Van Buren and Francis Bowen of Van Buren; and his children, John Bowen (Connie), Kathy Bowen DeFoore, Sandra Bowen Carter, Peggy Gosnell (Brian) and Oleta Bowen Sally. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that gifts be made to the national breast Cancer foundation.
