He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest William Hopkins and Lillie Mae Hopkins (Landers); his wife Brenda Hopkins; his son-in-law Rick Hagen; and his siblings-in-law, Janie Beyer, Carolyn Pickle, Patricia Beyer, Gary Beyer and Charlie Pickle. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
