He is survived by: his wife Ina Kay Walling; his children, Nick Briggs (Jessica), Gracie, Tanner, Rex of Groesbeck, TX, Josh Briggs (Liz) of Collinsville, TX, Jami Briggs of Lake Jackson, TX, Selina Almendarez of Collinsville, TX. and Jeri Cobb (Kelly) of Caddo Mills, TX; his grandson Cole Simpkins (Melanie); his daughter Joyce; his sister Vickie Briggs Beckham (Danny) of Era, TX; his niece Courtney Yates (Nicholas); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Calen, Hadley of Bridgeport, TX and Brenda Briggs Hunter (Bruce) of Warren, AR.; his nephew Jake Hunter (Cheryl); his great-nephew Wyatt Hunter of Bauxite, AR; his brothers-in-law, Ken Walling of Sadler, TX and Randy Kerr Walling (Beth) of Traverse City, MI.; and his aunt Kate Bridges of Denton, TX..
