He is survived by: his wife Mary Frank; his children, Danny Vandergriff, Penny Vandergriff and Robin Vandergriff Wilson; and his grandchildren, Kyle Vandergriff, Kelli Harpool, Hayden Jonas, Ethan Wilson, Desiree Miller and Judd Cockrell. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
