With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Connie Ann Thornton of Denton, Texas, who passed away on April 2, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Jerry Rutherford. She is survived by: her mother Jean Rutherford; her sister Cindy Kent; her brother-in-law Dave Thornton; her sibling's children, Kim Burns (Pat), Carly Hensley (Mark), Alex Thornton (Halie) and Drake Thornton (Jenna); and her grandchildren, Jackson Burns, Olivia Burns, Addison Thornton, Sydney Hensley, Elizabeth Burns, Caden Thornton, Case Thornton, Easton Hensley, Hunter Thornton and Emerson Thornton.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Denton Animal Shelter (https://www.cityofdenton.com) in Connie's honor.
