He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Byrom and Anita Byrom; his brother-in-law Bud Riney; his son-in-law Tyler Gullette; and his nephews, Mark and Steven Riney.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Byrom of Bedford, Texas; his daughters, Dawn French (Trent) of Boiling Springs, Laney Howard (Tracey) of Aubrey, Texas, Stacie Burt (Cornelius Cavitt) of Fort Worth, Texas and Sally Baucom (Kris) of Azle, Texas.; his stepsons, Paul Alessandra (Brittany Bauduin) of Fort Worth and Nick Alessandra (Cassidy) of Reno, Nevada.; his grandchildren, Garrett, Jordan Gullette, Trevor, Troy, Trent Howard, Sydnie, Kolten, Vivian Burt, Preston Baucom, Nyjele Turner, Mason, Aeowyn Alessandra, Skylar and Holland Alessandra; and his siblings, Charles Byrom (Elaine), Janet Richardson (John) and Charlotte Riney. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors (2025 W University Dr, Denton, TX 76201). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
