He is survived by: his former wife Madeline Oetinger (Ivosevic); his sons, Wayne David Oetinger (Pamela Abernathy) of Denton and Mark David Oetinger (Allison Gambill) of Louisville, Kentucky.; and his grandchildren, Emily, Tyler and Nicholas Oetinger.
