David Lynn Pope Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Pope and Syble Pope; and his brother Jerry Surratt. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Deming Pope; his son Jason; his daughter-in-law Vicki Moore Pope; his grandchildren, Katherine and Matthew Pope; his siblings-in-law, Andy and Karen Raney; and his nibling Kelly.

David was very proud of his involvement and contributions to Boy Scouts of America, serving many years as the Scoutmaster of Troop 137 in Irving, and later becoming a founding member and committee member of Troop 931 in Justin, serving alongside his son while his grandson was in the troop.
