He is survived by: his nephew James Richards (Silvia) of Gainesville; his sister-in-law Karen Richards of Gainesville; his nephew Alex Nicholson of Argyle, Texas; his nieces, Cheryl Watts (Doug) of Elkwood, VA and Cynthia Shell (Charles) of Gainesville; his great-nephew Alan Richards of Sanger; and his great-niece Ashley Bell of Denton, Texas..
