She was predeceased by : her parents, Joaquin Codina and Antonia Codina (Longoria); and her husband Roland Vela. She is survived by : her children, Jerry (Anne), Anna Maria Trier (Mark), Yolanda Vorel (Emerson) and Jaime; and her siblings, Jake (Irma) and Dora Elva. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
