With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Delaney Barganier of Denton, Texas, who passed away on August 2, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Tom Newton Barganier and Nannie Mae Downes Barganier; his siblings, Tommy N. Barganier, Jr., Nora Mae Smith and Cora Bell Gabriel; and his son Keith Delaney Barganier.

He is survived by : his son Jonathan; his wife Lura Easter Barganier; his children, Jon Barganier (Connie) of Fort Worth, Celia Lane Rosser of Irving and Teresa Cheryl Barganier of Irving; his sisters, Barbara Jean Yarbrough of Waco and Joyce Marie Siebert of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Christopher Rosser, J. Ryan Rosser, Cameron Rosser, Jamieson Rosser, Jeremy Estes, Jessica Byrd, Jordan Barganier, Madeleine Barganier, Ethan Barganier and Emelie Barganier; and his great grandchildren, Heath, Briar, August, Elara, Griffin, Garrett, Addilyn, Aunnah, Paige, Emerson, Bennett, Luthor, Xandor, Roman, Olivia, Aiden, Elise, Emma and Julie.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a small family funeral will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020, 10:00 a. m., at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Texas Home Health Hospice, 225 W. Mulberry St Suite B, Denton, TX 76201, or the American Cancer Society.

“Celia, Teresa, Jonathan, your DAD was the most caring and sharing man I have even know. As a friend, I knew that each of you were always very special to him. Years ago, when we played tennis and he would beat me badly, he still made me feel good, that was Delaney. Hope you and your families are doing well as it has been so long since seeing you.
