He was predeceased by: his parents, C. C. Hall and Avis Moran Hall; his brother-in-law Charles "Gig" Harpool; his son-in-law Jim Brown Jr.; and his grandson Hunter Erwin.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Harpool; his brother Terry C. Hall (Lynda); his brother-in-law Ralph E. Harpool (Denise); and his daughters, Terri Hall Rutledge (Benny), Tiffany Hall Erwin and Michelle Hall Brown. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
