We bid farewell to Helen L Walker of Denton, Texas, born in Saint Anthony, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 23, 2025 at the age of 91. Helen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Helen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Helen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Bryan Walker. She is survived by: her children, Tracy Bonebrake, John Bryan Walker Jr. (Melody) and Mary Lou Wertman (Lloyd); and her grandchildren, April Wertman, Zac Wertman (Kiara), Jeffrey Bonebrake Melinda (Bobbie), Chelsea Jeffery (David) and Matthew Walker (Rebecca). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lake Cities United Methodist Church Food Pantry (Lake Cities United Methodist Church) in her honor.
