She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bruton Casey and Nona Belle Miller; her stepfather E. H. Norwood; her husband Ed Powell; and her brothers, Roy Casey and Troy Casey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Trammell, LeAnn Tivis (Frank) and Jennifer Trammell. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, numerous cousins, 1 niece, 4 nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
