Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jerry Dake (Denton, Texas), born in Shelby, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 80, on August 28, 2019. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lores Dake and Mary Dake. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Chandler of Corpus Christi and Eric Laird of Cypress; and his friend Leslie James. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

“Jerry was a huge part of my business career @ coca-cola foods, aka minute maid co. I worked for him for several years and he gave me my first really big promotion. The good dr. Was a nervous wreck as a flyer. He always grabbed the armrests with great gusto during the slightest disturbance. When i razzed him he would say, "you fly your way, i'll fly mine"! He never spilled his drink though!!! We enjoyed many fine cigars together and lots of laughs. I will miss him! My condolences to his family.”
