With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joe De La Torre of Denton, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Joe is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joe's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Torre and Carolina De La Torre; and his grandson Andrew Lowell Bryce Moon. He is survived by: his wife Margarita De La Torre; and his children, Joey, Isaac, Eddie, Betty, Lisa and Jennifer. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (2255 N Bonnie Brae St, Denton, TX 76201). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
